Where to start, where to stop ... The food was so bad. From the pan gyros that was still partly raw, to the pizza that was wobbly and cold ... When asked whether the food really came from the stone oven, there were only strange looks and excuses. Attention everyone, the Greek restaurant and the stone oven share one kitchen! Here you will be ripped off by the bar and thread!

A really good restaurant with nice service and great food. We'd love to come back on our next vacation.

Enjoy your meal. Pizza well occupied base thin and good. The spagetti were well balanced with sauce, not too much, not too little. There was a lollipop and schnapps to pay for. Good corona hygiene concept. Disinfect hands when entering, then one is assigned to the table. Waiter came quickly for the order. You had to wait longer for the food. On the whole, a good restaurant.

Worst service, food ok. After our arrival we were assigned a table. It took forever to get the menus. Our order may still be wrong, but it was corrected without any problems. When paying, we suddenly couldn't pay by card, even though the next table had just done just that. After we had collected our last cash, we were able to settle our bill ... We didn't have a schnapps and lollipop like the one at the next table ... 10 horses can't get me here anymore ...

Never again! We got seated quickly, but got left for ages before the waiter brought our menus. The food came separately.... We were three people, one meal arrived, the table behind us got served next, then our other two meals came. The order was wrong, too, although this was dealt with quickly and without hassle. We then asked to pay... But got forgotten again. When I went up to ask, the man was rude and unfriendly. The table next to us asked to pay after us, got seen to straight away AND got offered a schnapps. We weren't even allowed to pay by card, were told oh, the other man has the machine. Pay cash. The only time this waiter was friendly was after we had scraped together enough cash, even though we didn't want to pay cash at all. We just wanted to get out of there. There was also an unpleasantly strong smell of smoke when the waiters came back from a smoking break.

In front of us, an elderly lady fell and fell on the bench. The first thing she was told was unkindly to put on the mask and not asked how she was doing. The food was also very very 🤮. In addition, the prices are very high. ❗️❗️Not recommended❗️❗️

Very nice staff. Good handling of the corona situation. A large selection, something for everyone and delicious food. The quaint restaurant was very good!

Small quaint restaurant. The staff was very friendly. We waited about 45 minutes for the food but we were told that it would take a little longer because all the tables were occupied. We liked the potato dishes very much and the portion was sufficient. We would go again.

The plaice fillet was very tasty and recommended. There were also corresponding supplements. The pizzas were okay, but nothing special either. The baked pasta was quite mixed to tend to be rather negative. The head waiter was very friendly and personable - kudos for that! In school grades anywhere between 3 and 4.

The food is good. Price-performance ratio is right. Rustic atmosphere. A smile from the waiter would be nice. ;-)

For my taste overpriced prices for poor quality and too small portions! The ambience is rather gloomy and unfriendly, the waiter was chatty, and after 6 months of pandemic he still didn't know how to wear the mouth and nose protection properly!

Rustic looking restaurant right on the street with a rustic character. Unfortunately, it was a difficult start due to the older gentleman being very sloppy / unfriendly. But got the curve and indirectly apologized with a free starter. Zaziki: Excellent, delicious! But the pizza could have been better (crisper).

Normally it wouldn't even have earned a star. We ended up in the restaurant spontaneously, which was deserted. The gloomy and old facility makes one downright depressed in 1 1/2 hours of waiting. After 1 hour we asked the waiter about our meal and there were only bad excuses. The food was very bad, the pizza dough dry and tasteless. Never again!

We went in here spontaneously because people were queuing at the Italian restaurant next door. "To the stone oven" Is actually a very good name that sounds like fresh food with fragrant herbs and homemade tomato sauce to me. Unfortunately it wasn't like that. The only star goes to the friendly service. You wait forever for the food and then after almost an hour you get something below average, something that has already cooled down. The potato side dish tasted like Maggi spice and the pasta casserole was overcooked and generally very fatty. I could go on and on ... Conclusion: Better to stay hungry! Very disappointing!

Food is not good. We had 2 glasses of wine spritzer, neither of which tasted good. The pizzas were hard to cut and tasted like NOTHING. Thick tomato slices that only tasted like water. To be honest, we didn't care. Next door at the table were of the same opinion.

We ended up here spontaneously without looking at Google first. Afterwards we cannot understand the negative reviews. We left the restaurant completely satisfied. Our orders were delivered quickly and were very warmly received. In general, the staff was very courteous. The food was just as tasty as it was stomach filling. We would definitely eat here again.

Contrary to the bad reviews, we gave it a try here. The staff was anything but motivated. The tomato soup tasted like canned pizza sauce. We also had to reorder clean cutlery. Unfortunately, the pasta with the baked pasta was overcooked. The sauce tasted very much like bagged goods. The vegetables, on the other hand, were by no means through and woody. The pizza dough looked very much like ready-made dough. Unfortunately nothing tasted like a stone oven here. Too bad. We had hoped we would be taught better.

First, wait 50 minutes for you for dish. The drink arrives hot at the table, which is certainly not skilled and a bit coarse. The pizza bottoms are half-finished by no means fresh, each pizza richly covered with parsley that half-burnt obscures the taste. Both starter and main course were then immediately on the table after a small comment. Much to the disappointment of the table companions. There is no feeling with the customer, just apologies that it is not their fault. Despite the fact that we discussed the complaint with the service, we do not get the feeling that we have been taken seriously. In other words, once but never again. Far-reaching glory from the 1970s. Please note that the sanitary plug is not recommended due to cleanliness.

The table was wiped thoroughly before we got it. Unfortunately with a dirty cloth which made it smell sour. Generally a little dirty disgusting place with poor operation. The pizzas were ok though but not sure they had seen a stone oven.

Worst service and food I have ever gotten

Hold on now maule it took a long time !!. Ordered Pizza. After we had ordered we were told that there was a bit of a wait. So we were set on that, but f .... not 1.5 hours 😳 I would recommend choosing from the Greek menu. We still had not received our pizza before the neighbors, who arrived later, had finished and had left the place again.

Do not eat here! The service is terrible and the food is horrible! I wouldn't even give the place one star. It was the worst dining experience I ever had in Europe, period! The name of the resturant, Steinofen, and the oven photos outside were very deceiving. We had ordered a potato and a pizza, neither of which appeared to come out of a wood-fired oven. The potato looked like it was boiled. The pizza maybe saw 30 seconds of oven time. The dough seemed factory-made. A store bought microwave pizza would have been better...

Undercooked pizza. Not fresh made, but a premade pizza dough. Not recommended.

Dont go here!! We had to wait for 1,5 hours for our food. And then only the food of my friend arrived. I never got mine. Only when I went to pay and asked them to remove my food from the bill, they offered to still serve it. No thanks. Not after it has been kept warm for 45min. Staff is slow and inaccurate. If you want pizza: go to the other side of the street! There is a lovely Italian restaurant with supersweet personnel!

Not as bad as everyone is making this place out to be! We sat down 6 people and got our meals order, and on top of that some starters. Yes the staff has a hard time speaking English, but if that's your reason for voting this down, you can get an app to help you with that ;) My porkfillet in garlic-butter was well done and the fries tasted very good. I would eat here again, but remember you get, what you pay for! :)
